I  PERSONAL DATA

1.1    Who is the data collector (data controller). 

The data collector is the saunaks.pl e-shop, owned by SAUNAKS Sp. z o.o. (KRS: 0001132219; NIP: 7831914396; REGON: 529896248; address: ul. Hoża 86 lok. 410, 00-682 Warszawa; WhatsApp +48 510-428-812; e-mail: saunaks@saunaks.pl). Hereinafter also referred to as the “Data Controller” or “Seller”.

1.2    Who is the data subject. 

The data subject is the person whose data is collected (hereinafter also referred to as the “Client"). The data subject may be a person who performs any transaction or inquiry through the Data Controller's website, telephone, or any other means of communication.

1.3    Why we collect data. 

The legal basis for collecting data is the performance of the agreement concluded between the Client and the Seller, obligations arising from legislation (e.g., accounting), and the Seller's legitimate interest in improving the quality of service. The main reason for collecting data is the fact that without data, the Seller is unable to fulfill the obligations arising from the agreement concluded between the Seller and the Client.

1.4    From which sources we may collect data. 

Sources from which we may collect data: a) data entered by the Client on our website; b) data received through correspondence; c) data collected through research and questionnaires (filling in research and questionnaires is not mandatory for the Client).

1.5    What information the data may contain. 

The collected data may include, among others, the following information: 

a)  Client's first and last name; 

b)  Client's address; 

c)  Client's contact details (including e-mail address, telephone number, etc.); 

d)  if goods are ordered on behalf of a company, data related to the company (including company name, address, and other contacts); 

e)  data of the person representing the company (including the person's first and last name, telephone number, e-mail address); 

f)  information about the Client's orders; 

g)  information about the Client's inquiries; 

h)  information about the use of the website (including IP address, data about the operating system and web browser used).

1.6    Where the collected data is stored. 

Collected data is stored at the location of the personal data controller and may be transmitted, stored, and processed in Poland and countries of the European Economic Area. All collected information is stored on secure servers, all payments are encrypted using the SSL protocol.

1.7    How long the data is stored. 

Data is stored as long as it is necessary for the purpose of the concluded agreement or to fulfill the requirements arising from legislation (e.g., accounting data is stored for 5 years in accordance with the law).

1.8    To whom data is transmitted. 

For the proper performance of the agreement concluded with the Client, we may transmit data for the following purposes: 

a)  to the payment intermediary – for the execution of electronic payments; 

b)  to providers of accounting, legal, etc. services – to fulfill reporting obligations arising from legislation;

c)  to the transport company – to organize the transport of ordered goods; 

d)  for the conduct of marketing activities – only if the Client has given a separate consent for this.

Our business partners are allowed to use the Client's data only for the performance of obligations related to the agreement between the Client and the Seller. They are strictly prohibited from using the data in any other way (e.g., for their own commercial purposes).

1.9    Modification, erasure, and transfer of personal data. 

1.9.1   The data subject has the right to: 

a)  access, supplement, update, rectify, and change personal data; 

b)  temporarily or permanently suspend their processing or demand the erasure of data if the data is incomplete, outdated, incorrect, or has been collected unlawfully; 

c)  receive their personal data in a machine-readable format or demand its transmission to another data processor (right to data portability); 

d)  submit objections if the data processing violates the rights and freedoms of the data subject. 

1.9.2   Rights of the Data Controller: 

The Data Controller has the right to refuse the erasure of data if its storage is necessary for the performance of the agreement or to fulfill obligations provided by law.

1.10  Other conditions. 

1.10.1  Newsletters and offers are sent to the Client only if the Client has expressed a wish for this. 

1.10.2  The Client has the right at any time to opt-out of the newsletter and offers by notifying the Seller via e-mail or by using the link provided in the newsletter. 

1.10.3  Essential notices (e.g., notice of change in terms) may be sent without separate consent. Such sent notices never contain advertisements.

1.11  Submitting a complaint. 

If you find that the processing of your personal data violates the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection inspectorate (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych - PUODO, address: ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, Poland).

II  USE OF COOKIES

2.1    Why do we use cookies? 

We use cookies to make using the website more convenient and faster. Thanks to cookies, the website remembers the choices made by the User (e.g., language, currency, text size), so the User does not have to re-adjust the website during the next visit.
